Yesterday I wrote : Get ready to spot some RoofSense ads. Well, an auction for a one year ad placement is now on eBay here. It was listed 3 days ago by a company called Roofshout – whose domain has been registered 4 days ago.
Details of the actual placement, location, search traffic, etc. are more than fuzzy – to say the least since there are none. We’ll see where that one ends up: current price, $105 – 6 days to go.
What do you think: yet another eBay scam or market test ?

Update: apparently, this is actually the start of a business - with a blog.
yeah location v.s airport is mandatory

Sure, why put an actual ad on an actual roof? Why not just tag the picture of the roof in Google Earth and share the tag? Look up "bluepulse" on Google Earth and you oughtta find our ad!

Hi,
That's my ad you're talking about. It isn't a scam- and you are right -it's a market test to generate interest and get feedback to start a REAL business. The high bidder will get top-of -the-line ad space as working EXAMPLE on my auction website. If the bidder is at all unsatisfied with the results of the ad I would glady refund any monies.BTW your site is great-I was wondering why I got about 2000 hits all of a sudden. Probably from your post.
